Plans are under way and we’re gearing up for our yearly Summer Reading Program! To date, we’d like to thank several sponsors who support literacy and continual learning. This includes: David J. Book Discussion Group is reading Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout for our June book.

The library’s knitting/crochet club will be taking a break for the summer. See you Sept. 8!

Intro to Microsoft Excel - This class will cover the basics of spreadsheets, formulas and charts. You must have prior computer experience for this class. This class will be offered in two one-hour sessions on Tuesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m. Please call the library to sign up.

The library will be closed on Monday, May 28 in honor of Memorial Day. We switch to our summer hours beginning on Saturday, May 26.

The St. Charles District Library Board will meet on Sunday, June 3, at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

The 2012 Summer Reading Program for all ages will run from Monday, June 11 thru Friday, July 27.

The library will be closed on Saturday, May 26 and Monday, May 28, 2012 for Memorial Day.
