Art exhibit to start Sunday at Durand Union Station

DURAND – The artwork of Michael David-Lorne Jordan will be on display Sunday, April 18, through June 27 at Durand Union Station.

Jordan’s exhibit is the first in a series of renowned photographers who will display their works at the historic depot.

Jordan, a professional photographer for more than 24 years, produces commercial, landscape, editorial and product photography. In 2007 and 2008, while working closely with The Nature Conservancy, Jordan’s photographs were chosen to be part of the book “Michigan: Our Land, Our Water, Our Heritage,” published by University of Michigan Press.

His work also can be found in private and corporate collections. Jordan’s award-winning work can be seen online at www.dlpphoto.com.

A reception will be held at the depot from 1-3 p.m. Sunday.
