Montrose Business Expo Fun

MONTROSE BUSINESS EXPO – The Montrose Chamber of Commerce held the annual Montrose Business Expo at Kuehn-Haven Middle School Gym on Saturday, April 10. The event drew attendees of all ages to visit with local business owners, sample products, view selections and learn more about the products and services available in Montrose and neighboring communities. Debbie’s Kitchen at Montrose Orchards was dishing up bean soup and hot dogs for hungry guests. David H. Smith of Aero Financial decided to help out another exhibitor by walking around the expo calling attention to her handbags. The Dive Shop of Flint took groups into the school swimming pool for a lesson in scuba diving. Leonard’s Auto Works & Towing of Montrose donated two children’s bicycles for drawing prizes during the event. Montrose Chamber of Commerce President Jerry Whitney, of Creative Custom Cabinets, showcased his custom woodwork. St. Mary’s of Michigan checked blood pressure for participants, as well as providing complimentary hand massages. McDonalds of Montrose offered fresh cookies and sweet tea. Nancy Obershaw of Hometown Realty Group served as expo chair. Tropical Smoothie of Clio also had samples available. Montrose Blueberry Queen Bethany Houghteling asked to have a big blueberry painted on her cheek. The ladies from Curves were styling in their shades as they talked about getting fit. Ronnie’s Auto Specialists/Ronnie’s Towing & Recovery filled the air with the aroma of fresh popcorn, which he and his crew distributed to expo guests.
