HAPPY FOODS

- When Montrose children return to Carter Elementary School on Sept. 3, they will be able to enjoy some new food art on the walls of the cafeteria. Montrose Community Schools Nutrition Director Angela Florian told the Citizen, “I have a high school art student who did some fantastic work painting in the Carter Elementary School cafeteria.” She explained that Hill-McCloy High School Art teacher Charity Wolfe highly recommended class of 2014 senior Scotti-Lyn Forgie for the job of painting food art on the cafeteria walls. Florian is very pleased with the Forgie’s cheerful portrayal of fruits and vegetables. Pictured here is Scotti-Lyn Forgie with a sample of the artwork she completed over three days this summer.
