Book Discussion Group: Our selection for the February book discussion is Distant Hours by Kate Morton. Stop by the library and pick up a copy then join us on Wednesday, Feb. 18, for discussion and refreshments!

Winter Programs Continue: Teen Activity, first Saturday of month, In-Stitches knitting club, second Saturday, and Lego club third Saturday.

Tech Time: You can join Ethan every Tuesday at 1 p.m. for help with your e-readers and other gadgets.

Adult Winter Reading has started and will run until Feb. 28.

Winter reading program for all ages now through Feb. 28: All you have to do is read, record your time, and then submit your completed reading record for a small incentive prize and entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. The more you read, the better your chances of winning. All program rules and reading records are available on our website at www.stcharlesdistrictlibrary.org or available to pick up at the library. Start reading and good luck!

The Knitting Group will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m. New Knitters are welcome!

The St. Charles District Library Board will meet on Sunday, March 1, at 6:30 p.m. Discussion will be held regarding 2015-2016 budget. The public is invited to attend.

The Book Discussion Group will meet on Monday, March 2, at 6 p.m. to discuss the book Innocence by Dean Koontz.

On Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m., Chef Michelle Bommarito presents a “Bring it Back to the Supper” demonstration. Phone (810) 638-757 to register as space is limited.

The Community District Library will offer eReader users an opportunity to get assistance with borrowing eBooks from the library catalog on Monday, Feb. 23 at 5 p.m. at the New Lothrop Branch. The cost is $5 to reserve a seat, and will be refunded when the session is over. Space is limited so registration is required by calling (810) 638-7575. Participants should bring their devices with them, along with their CDL library card.
