The St. Charles District Library will be closed from Monday, April 30 thru Sunday, May 13 to move to our new location at 132 S. Saginaw Street, St. Charles. Normal business hours will resume at our new location on Monday, May 14.

The Adult Coloring Group will not meet on Friday, May 4, due to the move and closing. The next Adult Coloring Group session will be held on Friday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at our new location.

The Hook & Needle Group will meet on Tuesday, April 24, at 1 p.m. to knit, crochet and socialize. Come join the fun!

The Friends of the Library will meet on Tuesday, May 1, at 4 p.m.

The St. Charles District Library board will meet on Sunday, May 6, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at 132 S. Saginaw Street, St. Charles.

The Book Discussion group will meet on Monday, May 7, at 6 p.m. at the Rustic Inn to discuss the book Guilty by David Baldacci.

Hours of Operation: Monday – Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday closed.

Book Discussion Group: Our selection for the May book discussion is Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah. Stop by the library and pick up a copy, then join us on Wednesday, May 16 at 7 p.m. for discussion and refreshments!

Make a Silk Scarf: Donna Henige will be here on Thursday, May 10 at 6 p.m. to teach us how to make handmade painted silk scarves. Class size is limited to 10 people and you must call to register. All supplies will be furnished!

Family Movie Day: We will be showing the movie Cocoa as our last movie before summer break begins. Join us on Saturday, May 5 for popcorn, drinks and a great family movie!

Spring Hours: Monday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Wednesday closed, Thursday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday closed, Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
